MUSIC & VINO at Hopewell Valley Vineyards
From now until April, Hopewell Valley Vineyards offers the free event, “Music & Vino” every Friday through Sunday. Come out to enjoy live music by solo artists, duos, trios, and bands who perform everything from classic rock to country to jazz. Wine by the glass, bottle, or flights will be available, along with brick-oven pizza and light fare. Check below for times. Princeton Mutual Aid Network Senior Food Deliveries
On Sunday, February 19th, the Princeton Mutual Aid Network will deliver groceries to senior citizens. Princeton Mutual Aid Network is committed to providing helpful assistance to their community. This event will occur every other Sunday. If you are interested in receiving deliveries or know someone that would, please contact hotline at (609) 664-0971 or email tigerpackmutualaid@gmail.com. Groceries will be delivered between 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM within the Princeton, NJ area.
What’s Open and Closed in Mercer County This Presidents’ Day!
On February 20th, most Mercer County government offices, including all branches of the Mercer County Library System will be closed in observance of Presidents’ Day. Facilities such as the Howell Living History Farm, Tulpehaking Nature Center, Princeton Country Club golf course and Park Commission administrative offices, will also be closed. However, Trenton-Mercer Airport (except for administrative offices), Correction Center, Sheriff’s Office and the Emergency Services Communication Center will remain open.
If you’re looking for some activities to do with the family during this long weekend, the following Mercer County Park Commission facilities (located at 1638 Old Trenton Road Princeton Junction, NJ 08550) will be open at the following hours:
Ice Skating Center, 8:30 to 10 a.m. for senior skating (62+), 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for public skating.
Tennis Center, 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Mercer Oaks East, Mercer Oaks West, Mountain View and Hopewell Valley golf courses, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.
Mercer County Stables, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Wildlife Center, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. by appointment only.
