Events happening around Mercer County

If you’re looking for some last-minute activities to do this weekend, Trenton Journal has you covered. We compiled a short list of some fun and helpful events going on around the county for residents of all ages.

Car seat safety check

While summer can be a time for car travel, it’s always a good time to double check your child’s car seat to ensure they are properly secured. Princeton Health Community Wellness is offering this free service, until July 31st, to assist parents with proper installation, age appropriateness and recall information. It can be a difficult for many parents to know the correct way to seat their child in a car seat. It’s important to have a certified child passenger safety technician ensure the safety of your precious cargo. Parents are asked to bring their car manual and car seat instructions with them. Appointments are necessary, as well. Please call (888)897-8979.

The car seat checks will be held at the following locations:

  1. Hamilton Area YMCA John K Rafferty Branch

1315 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd, Hamilton, NJ

2. Community Wellness731 Alexander Road, Princeton, NJ
