See what is on the docket tonight at the Trenton City Council meeting

This Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. and Thursday, September 21 at 5:30 p.m. Trenton City Council will hold their regular public meeting. Take a look at a few of the interesting items on the docket to be discussed and some that have been resolved. An ordinance establishing and amending the salaries and compensation of the Trenton City Council: The annual salary for City Council President has been increased to $32,000 a year and $30,000 per year for each member of the Trenton City Council was resolved on Sept. 7th. Resolution authorizing the appropriation of $150,000 from the funds allocated to the city of Trenton under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 for the purchase of three surveillance drones to better monitor large public events and improve emergency responders’ ability to effectively mobilize in crisis situations. Resolution authorizing the City Council of the city of Trenton to hold an executive session on September 19, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. that will exclude the public from an item or items. The general nature of the subject or subjects to be discussed: Resolution authorizing settlement of a civil action in the matter of Jorge Tapia v.
