Trenton Film Society Has Something For Movie Buffs

This weekend, the Trenton Film Society is showing 2023 Oscar-nominated short films in the categories of live-action, animated, and documentary at the Passage Theatre in Mill Hill. If you’re one of many who are waiting with bated breath for the March 12th broadcast of the coveted 95th Academy Awards, then you won’t want to miss the chance to see these hits. Guests will also have the chance to predict winners for the opportunity to win an all-access pass to the Trenton Film Festival in June. Tickets are $12 for single features and $20 for double features. Complimentary snacks and beverages will also be provided. Tulpehaking Nature Center

Tulpehaking Nature Center Hosts Family Sundays

The Tulpehaking Nature Center, which is Mercer County Park Commission’s newest center for environmental education offers Family Sundays every 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday of the month between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. These free events offer a naturalist-led program for the entire family, allowing all to enjoy and explore nature together. Participants could expect a different guided weekly interactive program that is available in English and Spanish. Registration is not required for access to the program. This Sunday, February 26, the nature center will offer its Creation Station, in which families will have the opportunity to create nature and wildlife crafts to decorate the center or take back home. Continue to Celebrate Black History Month in Philly This Weekend

Black History Month is not yet over! The Philadelphia Museum of Art is celebrating the last weekend of the month with programs and activities honoring the work of local community organizations and Black artists. On Saturday, February 25, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the museum will offer free admission to a day full of events that include local speakers, performances, arts and crafts, tours of Black artwork, and more. Enjoy an Evening of Local Entertainment by Café Improv at the Arts Council of Princeton

If music, comedy, and poetry are high on your weekend to-do lists, then you will want to be at the Arts Council of Princeton on Saturday, February 25th. The Café Improv performers will be on deck providing guests with an evening of exciting entertainment for $1 for ACP members and $2 general admission, with a showtime of 7:00 p.m. You won’t want to miss this!
