TESU to Host Community Fair and Blood Drive

Thomas Edison State University hosts a Community Fair and Blood Drive on Tuesday, June 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Prudence Hall, located at 111 West State Street, Trenton.
This event, open to the public, aims to foster community engagement and provide valuable resources to residents. The community fair will feature numerous local organizations and non-profits dedicated to offering support and services within the community. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about available resources, volunteer opportunities, and ways to build connections within the community.
More than 25 vendors are expected to participate, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer County; Urban Promise Trenton; United Way of Mercer; Mercer Street Friends; Millhill Child & Family Development; the Father Center; the Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund; the Rescue Mission of Trenton; Trenton Health Team and Womanspace.
In conjunction with the fair, a Red Cross blood drive will be held, and community members are encouraged to donate blood. Walk-ins are welcome, and all blood donors through June 30 receive a $15 e-gift card as a token of appreciation. More information can be found at redcrossblood.org/DoGood.
“Our goal is to expand access to resources and create opportunities for community engagement with the residents, nonprofit organizations and local agencies within and around the city of Trenton,” said TESU president Merodie A. Hancock. “We hope this student-initiated event will bring the community together and enhance awareness of the support available across our city.”
