International Musicians, Capital Philharmonic Quartet Perform July 5 to Benefit Sprout U School of the Arts

Sprout U School of the Arts and Harmony 123 invites music and arts lovers to the “Harmony for Hope” benefit concert featuring international youth musicians and a string quartet from Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey at 3 pm, Saturday July 5, 2025 in Kelsey Theater at Mercer County Community College, 1200 Old Trenton Rd. West Windsor.
Sprout U, a nonprofit performing arts school educating Trenton children from preschool through high school, is partnering with Harmony 123, for a unique concert featuring Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey musicians and 30 award-winning youth musicians and dancers from six states and three countries. Trenton Mayor Reed Gusciora will be the guest speaker. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at https://www.harmony123.org/concert25.html
The concert is organized by Harmony123, a nonprofit organization uniting musicians and artists worldwide, including many award-winning youth musicians, to perform music and create art to support charitable causes around the world. It has performed over 150 in-person or online concerts since 2016.
All proceeds benefit Sprout U School of the Arts, a performing arts school in Trenton founded in 2001 by Danielle and her late husband, Joseph Winrow. “Highlighting the significance of academic success and outstanding performance, our students develop skills that contribute to their success both on stage and in everyday life,” said Danielle Miller-Winrow, Principal of Sprout U. “At Sprout U, our arts-integrated curriculum begins in preschool and remains an essential part of the student experience throughout elementary, middle, and high school.”
The partnership between Harmony123 and Sprout U blossomed from a friendship and shared love of ballet between Laura Wu-Co-President of Harmony123 and a student at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South and Sprout U students Alicianna and Isabella Rodriguez. Inspired by Sprout U’s unique mission, Laura and her mother, a physician at Capital Health Medical Center, were moved to support the school. Sprout U has nurtured gifted young dancers like Alicianna and Isabella, both of whom have received national recognition for their excellence in ballet.
“Music is a universal language that bonds us,” said Ethan Zhang, 16, President of Harmony123 who co-founded the organization in 2016 in Orlando, FL and who currently studies in Singapore. “We are proud to bring youth musicians from around the US and the world to come together to support our fellow youth musicians and artists in need. In today’s world, young musicians and artists face many hurdles in the pursuit of our dreams. We stand by each other and support each other.”
In addition to ticket sales, an online auction is open and features original artworks, professional sessions, and unique items such as a set of drumsticks autographed and donated by the Grammy-Award winning drummer Marty Morell of the legendary Bill Evans Trio (Evans was a New Jersey native, born in Plainfield, NJ). The Harmony for Hope total fund-raising goal is $10,000 – with all proceeds benefiting Sprout U students.
The Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey, proudly rooted in Trenton—the capital city and home of the students this fundraiser supports, is pleased to lend their artistry to this meaningful event. By joining the effort, they help champion arts education and uplift the next generation of performers in their community. Their performance, along with the talents of international youth artists, will be featured in an exclusive one-day-only event you won’t want to miss.
