NJ State Library grant finding webinar
Looking for resources to jump start that exciting new project? The New Jersey State Library will be hosting an “Introduction to Finding Grants” webinar on February 29, 2024, at 12:00 PM-1:00 PM.
This webinar will be held virtually via Zoom where participants can learn about the importance of how to find grants, including:
- Who funds nonprofits and what are their motivations.
- What do funders really want to know about the organizations they are interested in funding.
- How do you identify potential funders and make the first approach.
Grants play a pivotal role in empowering organizations and individuals to turn their visions into reality. They provide crucial financial support for a wide range of projects, from community development initiatives to educational programs and innovative research endeavors. By offering funding that does not require repayment, grants enable recipients to pursue their goals and make meaningful contributions to society without the burden of debt. Moreover, grants often prioritize projects that address pressing social issues, promote diversity and inclusion, and foster positive change within communities. In essence, grants serve as catalysts for progress, driving innovation, fostering collaboration, and expanding opportunities for growth and advancement.
Attendees will receive login credentials to the Foundation Directory database and have remote access for 48 hours after the presentation, as well as a Q&A portion where participants can take advantage real time answers and advice from experts.
