This weekend, many will celebrate the Easter holiday and looking for family fun events to enjoy. The Trenton Journal has curated a list of unique events and activities for all that include pop-up shops, hands-on artwork activities for kids, an 80s jam, as well as afternoon tea at a local tea parlor and apothecary.
Spring Pop-up shop at New Jersey State Museum
Golden Events presents Spring Ultimate Pop-up Shop. Come out for the ultimate shopper and vendor experience at the New Jersey State Museum this Saturday, April 8. Bring the entire family to the museum to shop multiple vendors selling items, such as crafts, artwork, jewelry and apparel. Artworks Presents: Weave a Story
This Saturday, Artworks has a treat for 12 participants between the ages of 8 and 12 years old. Weave A Story: A Day of Discovery will allow guests to take a brief gallery walk and talk with the exhibition curator. There will then be a hands-on weaving workshop, in which guests will experiment with colorful yarn, making their own loom, and creating a fabric piece of art to tell their own story. Teens Go Between Club at Princeton Public Library
This Saturday, April 8th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., the Princeton Public Library welcomes all sixth, seventh and eight grade students to join them in the STEAM studio. Every second Saturday of the month throughout the school year, the Princeton Public Library will hold a fun discussion on books and other interests for the above mentioned grades. Registration is not required, but highly recommended. Please register here if you would like to sign your teen up for this fun, educational event.
