Meet Mercer County’s Jeopardy! hero Jamie Ding at the Lawrence Headquarters Branch

Come celebrate our local Jeopardy! hero, Jamie Ding, at a special homecoming event with County Executive Dan Benson on Monday, August 31, from 7:00 – 8:00 pm at the Lawrence Headquarters Branch of the Mercer County Library System.

Jamie didn’t just break into the show’s all‑time top five—he won our hearts with his love of the color orange and his sunny smile. Hear his favorite Jeopardy! moments and pick up pro tips for future trivia stars. The community event will wrap up with a lively Q&A and a bookmark signing.

“We at Mercer County admire our local legends as well as their achievements, and Jamie Ding is certainly one to celebrate,” said County Executive Dan Benson. “His can-do attitude and optimism are qualities we should all try to emulate, and we are honored to commemorate this accomplishment with him.”
