TME Presents Trenton Made Hip-Hop Event

Trenton Music Experience invites the community to celebrate Trenton artists, DJs, and creatives who shaped the sounds, style, and culture that define Hip-Hop today during the TRENTON MADE festival, May 7-9, 2026.
Experience a curated pop-up museum, immersive exhibitions, engaging panel discussions, and live performances at various venues across the capital city. See event details below.
Over the last 50 years, Hip-Hop has evolved from a powerful form of musical self-expression born in the streets and housing projects of urban America into the most dominant music genre in the United States, a position it has held since 2017. From the very beginning, Trenton played an important role.
Trenton Music Experience, a Trenton-based nonprofit run by volunteers, is showcasing that legacy as part of its mission to preserve, promote, and celebrate the rich musical history and cultural contributions of Trenton, New Jersey.
Longtime hip hop performer DJ Fatha Ramzee says, “TRENTON MADE is more than an event. “It’s a living timeline of hip hop in our city, honoring the pioneers who laid the groundwork and the new voices pushing the culture forward.”
