Younity (formerly Womanspace) is celebrating the remarkable career and lasting impact of Rev. Susan Victor, Th.M., MSW, LCSW, Chief Operating Officer of Client & Community Services, as she begins her next adventure after more than 20 years of service to victim-survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their families throughout Mercer County and the surrounding region.

Throughout her tenure at Younity, Victor has helped shape programs, strengthen community partnerships, mentor staff, and expand services that provide safety, support, advocacy, counseling, and hope to victim-survivors and their families. Her leadership has played a vital role in advancing Younity’s mission and ensuring that individuals facing violence and abuse have access to the resources they need to heal and rebuild their lives.

In recognition of her decades of service, Victor will be honored as a Trenton Thunder Hometown Hero today. As part of the celebration, she will be recognized on the field prior to the game and throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

“For more than two decades, Susan has been a source of wisdom, compassion, and guidance for our staff, our clients, and our community,” said Nathalie S. Nelson, Chief Executive Officer of Younity. “She has helped shape not only our programs but also the culture of care that defines Younity today. Her leadership, kindness, and unwavering commitment to survivors have touched countless lives and strengthened our organization in immeasurable ways.”

Those who have worked alongside Victor often speak of her steady presence, thoughtful leadership, and remarkable ability to make people feel seen, heard, and valued. Throughout her career, she has remained deeply committed to walking alongside survivors as they navigate some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

When describing a survivor who rebuilt her life after experiencing abuse, Susan said, “I just journeyed with her. She did the work.” This statement reflects a philosophy that has guided her career: honoring the courage and determination of survivors while providing support, advocacy, and hope along the way.

Victor’s influence extends far beyond the individuals she directly served. She has mentored generations of advocates, counselors, and community leaders, helping to build a culture of compassion, collaboration, and excellence that will continue to shape Younity’s work for years to come.

As Younity celebrates Victor’s extraordinary career, the organization invites community members to learn more about her story and honor her impact by supporting services for survivors and their families.
