$35,000 Taco Bell Foundation Grant expands opportunities for Mercer County Youth

Before young people can plan for what comes after high school, they need opportunities to discover what’s possible. A $35,000 Community Grant from the Taco Bell Foundation will help Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County expand College & Career programming for local teens.
The funding will support the Club’s year-round work connecting young people with educational and career pathways, skill-building experiences, and professionals who can offer guidance and insight along the way.
“Every young person deserves the chance to discover what excites them and see just how many paths are open to them,” said Reginald J. Coleman, President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County. “We’re incredibly grateful to the Taco Bell Foundation for helping us give our teens the guidance, connections, and experiences they need to set goals for themselves and take meaningful steps toward achieving them.”
Other generous partners that have supported Club teens and tweens through our College & Career program include Princeton Area Community Foundation, Munich Re, John Ben Snow Memorial Trust, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Comcast NBCUniversal Foundation, OceanFirst Foundation, and the Carolyn Jane Scott Charitable Trust.
We are deeply grateful to all of these generous partners for believing in our young people. Their support opens doors, expands opportunity, and empowers our teens and tweens to imagine—and build—bright futures for themselves.
Students, families, and community members can learn more about these opportunities at Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County’s 2026 College & Career Fair on Thursday, October 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Spruce Street Clubhouse, 1040 Spruce Street in Lawrenceville.
The free, public event will bring together more than 50 colleges, businesses, and community organizations to help students explore educational and career pathways and plan for what comes next. To learn more or register, visit https://secure.qgiv.com/event/2026collegecareerfairsponsor/
