Get ready for NJ High School Voter Registration Week April 14-20

In a continued effort to increase youth voter and civic engagement, Jersey Civic Engage is conducting NJ High School Voter Registration Week during the week of April 14-20, 2024. They want and need young adults to take an active part in the public life of their communities and make voting a lifelong habit.
Many New Jersey residents across the state participated last year and are participating this year to volunteer to run activities in their communities and with Jersey Civic Engage’s state government partner, the New Jersey Department of Education.
Jersey Civic Engage is asking for your help in this non-partisan effort to register eligible 17 and 18 year old high school students right in their own communities. They are doing this in anticipation of the voter registration deadline on May 14th for the upcoming Primary Election 2024 on June 4th.
There’s still plenty of time to take part. Simply send an email that includes your name/organization name and phone number to NJDOS@sos.nj.gov and in the subject line copy and paste the words NJ HS Voter Registration.
