The New Jersey 2024 school choice expo
The New Jersey School Fair is happening Friday, Jan 26, 2024, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at the War Memorial’s Washington Ballroom. 1 Memorial Drive Trenton, NJ 08608. The annual event is hosted this year by Expanding Education For All, New Jersey Parents for Virtual Choice, Excellent Education For Everyone, and the Tranquil Teachings Learning Center.
With only a few tickets left the event aims to showcase the diverse systems currently catering to families and learners. It also provides an opportunity for legislators to listen to New Jersey students, families, and educators, about the significance of their voice in and choice regarding their education.
Points of focus for participants include:
- Meet the educators serving students around the State
- Learn more about your current choice/options/access
- Learn about the state capitol
- Meet your elected representatives
- Show your support for education freedom/access
- Hear from guest speakers
National School Week Choice a charitable program of the National School Choice Awareness Foundation will be sponsoring the event, their focus is to help families discover the traditional public, public charter, public magnet, private, online, and home education options available for their children K-12. While also generating widespread public awareness of the importance of opportunity in K-12 education. National School Week Choice works across all 50 states and the District of Columbia. According to their site, “In 2023, NSCW generated thousands of unique or syndicated news stories reaching millions of Americans.”
“In January 2023, we worked with 27,920 schools, and with homeschool organizations, to plan or promote 26,299 community events and activities. We also partnered with 62 nonprofit organizations across 41 states to plan 65 large-scale events.”
